What My Morning Routine Actually Looks Like As A Small Business Founder

Social media has made morning routines look like a full time job.

Ice baths.

Ten step skincare routines.

An hour of journalling.

A sunrise marathon.

While there’s nothing wrong with any of those things, my mornings are much simpler.

Starting Slowly

I’ve learned that starting the day feeling calm works far better than starting the day feeling rushed.

Giving yourself a few moments to wake up properly can make a surprising difference to your mindset. 30 minutes no screen time & non-negotiable supplements is my newest rule.

Movement Matters

Whether it’s a gym session, a walk or simply getting outside, movement helps create momentum for the day ahead.

It’s one of the easiest ways to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.

Planning Before Reacting

One of the biggest changes I’ve made is focusing on my priorities before opening emails or social media.

Starting the day intentionally helps me stay focused on what actually matters.

Progress Over Perfection

No morning routine is perfect.

Some days are productive.

Some days feel chaotic.

The goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is creating habits that support the life you’re trying to build.

Final Thoughts

The best morning routine isn’t the most complicated one.

It’s the one you can stick to consistently. Don't be too hard on yourself.
